NOTES:

Unknown Abernathy, believed to be a child of Linford Abernathy.

Nat Abernathy, former caretaker for the cemetery, stated that the oldest grave is that of a child belonging to Linford Abernathy. When the child died in the 1850s, Linford buried his child here and donated land to the church for a cemetery.

For many years, a handmade tin cross marked the location of the oldest grave until it was replaced with a marble stone.
