Earl Houston Bauer & Patricia O'Rourke Bauer
NOTES: Earl Houston Bauer Patricia O. Bauer Earl Houston Bauer Earl Houston Bauer, 83, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010. He was born on June 12, 1927, in Wheeling, W.Va. He was a loving husband and dedicated father and cherished the time he spent with his family, especially the precious time with his wife of 56 years, Patricia Bauer. He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed telling others of the Kingdom Good News. He enjoyed playing golf, hiking and visiting Allatoona Dam at Red Top Mountain, and eating ice cream. He served in the United States Navy during World War II before receiving an honorable discharge. He was a civil, aviation and mechanical engineer, having worked at various companies including NASA, Kimberly Clark, Western Electric and Lockheed. He worked on the Saturn 5 Project and assisted with the design of the C5A Aircraft. He will truly be missed by Patricia Bauer, his wife of 56 years; his children, Mark, John, James and Peter Bauer; his grandchildren, Christopher, Michelle and Chad Savage, Josh and Brooke Bauer, Robert, Kaitlyn and Morgan Bauer; his two great-grandchildren; and his brother, David Bauer of Wheelersburg, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Emma Belle Bauer and Dorothy Bauer, and by his daughter Deborah Savage. He will also be greatly missed by both his extended family and his many friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 11, at
3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 811 West Ave.,

Patricia O'Rourke Bauer Patricia O'Rourke Bauer, age 88, of Cartersville, died on Monday, July 23, 2018, at her residence. She was born on December 22, 1929, in Maryland, the daughter to the late George Leo O'Rourke and Emelia Rhea Hubbard Davis. She was born and raised on the eastern shore and was very proud of it. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Earl H. Bauer, to whom she married in 1954; along with a daughter, Deborah Savage. Mrs. Bauer was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She loved people and people loved her. She was known for her warm smile and being kind. She loved to travel and talk to people about the Bible and her beliefs based on the Bible. Survivors include her sons, Mark Bauer and wife, Laura, John Bauer and wife Tina, James Bauer and wife Melanie and Peter Bauer and wife Gail; her grandchildren, Christopher, Michelle and Chad Savage, Josh and Brooke Bauer, Robert, Kaitlyn and Morgan Bauer; and 3 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at Northside Hospital-Cherokee Conference Center, 1130 Bluffs Parkway, Canton, Georgia 30114, with Mike Crouse officiating.
