Ronald Joseph Golen, son of John P. Golen and Eleanor Klecha, born in Wayne County, Michigan, husband of Madge Loren Lavender. Madge Loren Lavender Golen, wife of Ronald Joseph Golen Ronald Joseph Golen Funeral Home Obituary Mr. Ronald Joseph Golen, age 65, of Waleska, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at the Northside Cherokee Hospital. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6:00 until 10:00 p.m. at Sosebee Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 from the Old Macedonia Cemetery with Father Jaime Rivera officiating. Mr. Golen was a Army Veteran and an avid deer hunter. Survivors include his wife, Madge Golen of Waleska, son and daughter-in-law, Timothy Allen and Lisa Golen of Monroe, Michigan, Grandsons, Jared and Jordan Golen of Monroe, Michigan also survive. Golen, age 75, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Northside Forsyth Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Old Macedonia Cemetery with Rev. Joey Watson officiating. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in June in Old Fort, North Carolina with date and time to be announced. Madge loved family and friends and enjoyed genealogy, gardening, golf and travel. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Donna Rooney (James); granddaughter, Crystal Shearer (Justin Voss) great-grandchildren, Jordan Voss and Mia Voss; brother, Gerald Lavender (Buleha); sister-in-law, Kay Lavender; several nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive.
