NOTES: Jerry Worth Howell, husband of Joan Howell. Obituary for Jerry Worth Howell Jerry Worth Howell, husband to Joan Howell, father to Andrea Hammond and Brenda White, Papa to Courtney and spouse Adam Young, Amber Goldman, Miranda and spouse Christopher Morrison, great-grandfather to Emmalin Morrison, beloved brother, uncle, and cousin, known to his friends as JW graced us with his presence February 15, 1937 and devastated us with his unexpected passing January 15, 2018. JW was a selfless man who would give you the shirt off his back along with his last dollar and never expect anything in return. He was the hardest working man most people had ever seen working at Lockheed for over 30 years while simultaneously owning his own lawn care business long after he retired from building airplanes. He was always the first person to volunteer his help to family or friends on any project involving manual labor no matter how big, even up until the last few weeks of his life. No matter what he was going through he always had a positive outlook and an amazing sense of humor. It is impossible to articulate everything he meant to the people that knew and loved him but he was selfless above all else. Although we are grief stricken he is no longer with us we can take comfort in the fact that he is fishing with Jesus. A visitation will be held Saturday Jan 20, 2018 from 11:00am to 3:00pm at Canton Funeral Home and Cemetery located at 10655 E. Cherokee Dr. Canton Ga 30115. Interment will take place Sunday January 21, 2018 at 2:00pm in Old Macedonia Cemetery located at 298 Macedonia Rd. White Ga 30184. Memorial donations can be made to the family to support Mrs. Howell.
