Mr. Clifford Alvin "Buddy" McClure, 71, of Adairsville, passed away Tuesday, May 12, in a local hospital.
Mr. McClure was born Sept. 14, 1937, in Gilmer County, Ga., the son of the late Mantly and Velma Smith McClure. He was a retired textile worker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Adairsville. He was preceded in death by a brother, Frank McClure, and a sister, Vera Hunt.
Survivors include his wife, Fay White McClure, to whom he was married, May 21, 1960; children, Debra (Doug) Miller of Adairsville, Karan West of Adairsville, C. A. (Tina) McClure of Kingston, Donna (Teddy) Redd of Adairsville, Tracy Green of Adairsville, Michael McClure of Adairsville; grandchildren, Christian Miller, Adam Miller, Justin West, Ricky McClure, Brandon McClure, Faith McClure, Charity McClure, Makayla Redd, Jordan Redd, and Morgan Redd; brothers, M. A. (Faye) McClure of Cartersville, Donald (Agnus) McClure of Banks County; sisters, Estelle (Clayton) Reece of Dawson County, Ga., Gladys (Dorsey) Gibson of Lumpkin County, Ga., Carolyn Parker of Floyd County, Joyce Morgan of Cartersville, Brenda (John) Pittman of Gilmer County, Bennie (Larry) Tanner of Lumpkin County, and Helen Reece of Lumpkin County.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 4 p.m. at Parnick Jennings Sr. Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Revs. Jason Pace and David Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery in Bartow County. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are asked to meet at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, Friday at 3:30 p.m. They include the following gentlemen: Christian Miller, Adam Miller, Justin West, Ricky McClure, Brandon McClure and Robbie Ridley.

Mrs. Fay Nell White McClure, age 75, of Kingston, passed away Saturday February 13, at her residence.
Mrs. McClure was born August 18, 1940, in Floyd County, a daughter of the late Lee White, and Luerella Rigdon White. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Adairsville she was employed by Union Carbide, and Lock Heed Martin before her retirement. Mrs. McClure was preceded in death by her husband Clifford "Buddy" McClure, son, Clifford "C.A." McClure, Jr. sister, Betty White Owens, brothers, Lee White, Jr. WM Olander White, James Franklin White, and David R. White.
Survivors include, daughters, Debra (Doug) Miller, Adairsville; Karan (Johnny) Prentice, Kingston; Donna (Teddy) Redd, Adairsville; Tracy Green, Adairsville; son Michael (Ruby) McClure, Calhoun; sister, Opal White Staton, her best friend, Glenda Freeman, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday February 18, 2016 at Parnick Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dewey Atchley, Todd Woodall, and Rev Donnie Spears, officiating. Interment will follow Old Macedonia Cemetery, near Cartersville. The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 P.M. on Wednesday February 17, 2016 at Parnick Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome Ga. 30165.
Pallbearers include, Christian Miller, Adam Miller, Justin West, Ricky McClure, Brandon McClure, and David Whitt, Jr.
