Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00PM Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from Hickory Log Baptist Church. She will lie in state from 12:00PM until 1:00PM. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00PM. Reverend Robert D. Holmes and Reverend Kevin Roach will officiate. She is survived by her husband; James Robert McMickens, Canton, GA, sons; Gary McMickens, Canton, GA, Bruce and Sharon McMickens, Cartersville, GA, Presley McMickens, Canton, GA, Mark McMickens, Barnesville, GA, brothers; Calvin Varner, Rome, GA, Leonard Varner, Dayton, OH, sisters; Rose McMickens, Canton, GA, Fannie McMickens, Canton, GA, Helen Varner, Chattanooga, TN, Grandchildren; Jordan McDaris, Jallen Sadler, Trevon McMickens, Teashon McMickens, Marcus McMickens and Aaliyah McMickens.
