Obituary for Terry Payne

Terry G. Payne, age 71 of White, GA passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021. He was born in Cartersville, GA on May 19, 1950 to the late Byron Lee Payne and Nellie Johnston Payne.
Terry is preceded in death by his sister, Glenda (David) Croy. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Ann Bennett Payne; daughters, Tammy (Greg) Martin, Cindy (Tony) Hardin; son Terry Payne; grandchildren, Josh Phillips, Amanda Phillips, Casey Nichols, Alexis Hardin; great-grandchild, Kaysen Nichols; sister, Janice(Jerry) Ghorley; brothers, Larry (Sybil) Payne, Wayne Payne.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 11, 2021 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. David Abernathy officiating. The Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery Cartersville, GA with Teddy Kilgore, Lee Cole, David Bennett, Jimmy Bennett, Josh Phillips, Wayne Payne and Dan Martin serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
